Terms and conditions

When you commission us to design and build your graphic design project, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below:

We will provide design work only when a verbal, written or email agreement has been entered into. We will store all emails and written communication as a permanent record.

Once it has been agreed that we will work for you, you agree to make all materials required for the project available as soon as is reasonably possible, and we accept no liability for failure to meet deadlines due to delays caused by you in supplying these materials to us.

We will not accept offensive, pornographic or illegal material from you as part of our graphic design service.

We will make every effort to ensure your graphic design project is free from errors or omissions. Once you are happy with the final designs, we will require you to provide confirmation of this by email or in writing before the document is sent to print.

We cannot accept liability for mistakes that are discovered after the document is printed. It is your responsibility to ensure the document is thoroughly proof-read before the launch and we accept no liability for losses incurred due to inaccuracy or omission on your graphic design project.

Any additions to the initial design brief made by you once the project has started may incur additional costs over and above the original quote. These costs will be discussed with you prior to implementation of the changes.

All design work remains the intellectual property of Maximpact Design until your invoice is paid in full. Once a graphic design project is completed, we will invoice you and you are obliged to settle our invoice within 30 days, unless an exception has been made by prior arrangement. Non payment will result in legal action. It is our policy to pursue non-paying clients through the Small Claims Courts, and this action can result in CCJs (County Court Judgments) which will affect your credit rating.

We will accept no liability for infringement of copyright resulting from material supplied by you. It is your responsibility to ensure you are using all text and graphics legally and we reserve the right to decline to use material if we have sufficient reason to believe a copyright violation is taking place.

As part of our graphic design service, we may nominate a printing service to you and arrange printing on your behalf with a printer we have reason to believe is reliable and cost effective. However, we accept no liability for the actions of the printing company and I will not be liable for any costs incurred or loss of earnings following a failure of the printing service. Any dispute of this nature must be settled between you and the printing company.

If at any time you feel we have not provided you with an adequate service, you have the right to complain, and we will do everything in our power to ensure the situation is remedied as soon as possible.
