Enticing Offers

Everyone loves a bargain

You can use this aspect of human psychology to encourage people to buy from you. By telling people that they get money off if they ‘book now’ or ‘buy now’, for example, you can gently encourage the people who want to buy into actually signing up. Keep your eyes open for what other people are doing.

Here are some ideas you might consider:

Promote new items with a discount
Reward loyalty to the business

For example, if the customer eats at your restaurant three times, the fourth visit could be free.

Use sales incentives

Once you've received the first sale, offer a discount on the second item. Give the customer a 10% discount off something else. Sometimes a very small deduction is enough to get that extra sale.

Offer a free trial, incentive, bargain, or guarantee

The structure of your offer can play a key role in building trust and enticing your prospect to buy. There are many variations of each, but incentives and guarantees are great ways to gain your potential buyer's confidence and are said to increase your sales and customer base by 30 – 40%. You also communicate an important message that you are confident in what you sell.

Bundling

Take two things, and put them together in a bundle, so that the overall price is lower than what the customer would pay for these things individually.

‘New’ and ‘Free’ are words that sell

Try and include these as often as possible, within reason. People are often wary when it comes to new products or services – offering trial periods or money-back guarantees can help to reassure potential customers.
